What to be aware of!
- Excessive ingestation is determined by your individual body and your
health, but will be indicated by diarrea just as is the case with
Vitamin C. If this happens, intestinal bacteria should be replaced by
eating either yogurt or acidophilus, and plenty of water should be
consumed to avoid dehydration.
- In some individules a cleansing reaction (headaches, lethargy, mucus,
etc.) can signal a reduction of dosage.
- Some manufacturers use salt as a electrolytic catalysts to speed up
production.
This allows silver chloride to form in the solution. Silver chloride is
what
is used in photographic film to make it light sensitive. Colloidal
silver made with
salt is light sensitive and will turn dark unless kept in a dark glass
or non reactive plastic bottle such as a Hydrogen peroxide bottle. Do
not store in regular plastic or metal containers because the individual
particle charge will get depleated.
- A colloid produced with salt is also somewhat acidic. Acidic
solutions are not as effective as balanced pH solutions. A pure colloid
of silver has a pH in the range of 6.5 to 7.
- Be leary of any CS whose label says, "to shake before taking".
If you must shake it the particles are way too large.
- Only pure silver marked .9999 fine should be used if the CS is to be
used internally. Silver coins or bullion or .999 can be used for topical
or general microbial use.
- Only the purest water should be used for making CS that is to be
ingested. The Clear Colloidal Silver uses water that has been activated
charcoal filtered, then steam distilled, and then ozonated.
- There are some products that have a protein added to stabilize them.
CS with the proper particle size do not need stabilized. The protein
causes the silver particles to become less active (they slow down and
being larger do not have the necessary penetrating power).
